I was disappointed to find a luxury double room only 8 ft wide by 17 ft long - with small double bed against a wall - not the impression given on the Mayflower website. This could be considered a luxury single - but definitely not a double - it was claustrphobic - we kept having to move things around. The bathroom linen had dirty grey tinge and the same towels appeared to be used to wipe floors dry in public areas. Only one small bar of soap on arrival and one set of towels for 2 people - although there was no towel rail and the humidity extractor fan was inadequate. Cosmetically the hotel is appealing - but beneath the facade there are basic improvements that can be made. I have stayed at the 2 other Mayflower Group hotels (20 Nerven Square and the New Linden) and not previously been disappointed.

Very comfortable and good value. We were upgraded to a large basement room.

Will stay again

Stayed there for 2 nights: it was clean (I appreciated the wooden floor which is generally better than a carpet), staff is friendly and the room was nicely decorated with a selection of newspapers and magazines. Breakfast was fine. The only drawback was the small size of the (double) room - it would be a single room in my opinion. And there's some noise from the tube in the back of the hotel. But it's perfectly located and I'll definitely stay here again.

Stayed by default, transferred from sister hotel. Very pleasantly surprised, small room but very clean and pleasantly decorated, wooden floors, lovely shower/wc, nice staff. Breakfast - cereal, fruit (tinned + fresh apples) yoghurt, cheese, toast, jam, tea/coffee, not luxurious but perfectly adequate. Slight drawback noise of tubes in rooms at the back but not a big problem and would definitely stay here again.

We left the Valentine's booking too late but managed to get their family room. Staff are very friendly (we had little chocolate hearts on our beds) and it was all very pleasant although my boyfriend and I would have like to have taken a bath rather than a shower. Would stay again. thanx

A little gem. Great value for money, friendly efficient staff, and modern refurbished room with US-style walk-in power shower. Pity that the bar is not open yet. Would definitely stay again.

I had booked a triple room (for myself, my sister and my mother) and was very disappointed when we were shown to room with a double bed and a fold out double sofa in appalling condition - honestly no hotel could expect you to sleep on that sofa and pay for it. They quickly rectified the situation by putting us up at a sister hotel nearby (in a tiny room), but I really don't think they should have taken our booking in the first place.

Just stayed 4 Nights and found the Hotel good value and very handy for Tube etc.Staff friendly. Rooms might be abit small but well fitted out. Trouser-Press, H.Dryer Coffee etc.
My wifes only complaint. No BAth.Shower only. Would stay again.

A wonderful value - very clever, modern, minimalist renovation that makes budget materials seem very elegant and stylish. I keep coming back.

For access to Earls Court and the centre of London you couldn't get much better. Room 20 has been refurbished and is superb for the money. Will definately stay again when the refurbishment is complete.

Our room was basic but very clean - had a 24" TV - not bad!!! Staff were really friendly - they even found us an unbrella to borrow as it was raining! Perfect location for Earls Court - 1 minute walk away.

Not bad value. Not too fussed on the skinny corridors though. Also, was too scared to use the lift as it was tiny and looked like it would break down at any moment.

I think your hotel must be the best value for money in London. Room 42 was like a 5 star hotel. I hope all your rooms are like that as I shall return in the near future.
Thank you very much
